I'm stupid...

so i've been too busy to update my blog. between work, class, and cleaning up after my sick dog (who has runny poop problems), i haven't had time to sleep, let alone update a blog. anyways, class. physics is kicking my butt. second day of class, the prof asks when people took physics 1. well, of the 18 people in the class, 15 took it last semester. 2 took it 2 years ago. and then there is me. 6 years ago. i am currently in physics 2 not having taken physics 1 since 1999 or 2000. needless to say, none of the equations that he says we should know even ring a bell, and i am more lost than a blind kid trying to play baseball in that class. it's a joke.

so we took our first quiz on tuesday. i got a 3.5 out of 6. i'm off to a great start.... and then my dog wakes up in the middle of the night with stomach issues and stinks up my room at 3:30 am which takes me almost an hour to clean and a feeble attempt to get rid of dog diarhea smell. (i can't spell) needless to say, i didn't get much sleep. anyways, between stupid dogs and stupid physics equations, i have come to the conclusion that i'm a bit slow.....

Life as I know it is over...

well, vacation is over and i'm back in arizona. and starting in 3 days, life as i know it is over. i will be taking 7 credit hours along with still working full time still. i was going to be taking a full load of classes, but financially, it's not going to happen. so starting tuesday, i will work 40 hours a week and take stats and physics with a lab. the other class i was going to take was chemistry with a lab. i'm a bit insane, as most people have told me.

anyways, i'm taking these classes because i just LOVE to learn. PSSHHAAA!!! i'm taking these classes to fulfill the last bit of requirements to get into grad school. so i'm taking these classes at a community college. so i'm thinking: i'm technically not quite a resident of arizona, so community college will be cheaper, right? WRONG! well, kinda, sorta. the way it's set up, the first 6 credit hours are $85 per credit hour. not too bad. but after that is where they get you. each consequent credit hour after that is $285. WHO THE HECK PAYS $285 A CREDIT HOUR AT A COMMUNITY COLLEGE?!?!?!?!? so anyways, daddy says no to one class, so schedule-wise, with work, i opted to drop chemistry. so instead of a $3000 tuition bill, it'll be about $2000. then i spent $400 on books, but i just spent the last hour looking for them online and i got them for a fraction of the price. so instead of a $3500 endeavor, i'm looking at $2200. still....

aside from going to school, i've been stressing out about grad school applications. currently, i have turned in my NAU (northern arizona univ) application. and i'm just about done with my CU (univ of colorado, health sciences center) application. hopefully, i'll get in somewhere and start school this fall and in 3 years all y'alls can call me DOCTOR! hahaha, not really. getting a doctorate in physical therapy gives you the right to the title of "doctor" but most people don't use that title in our profession. anyways, i could use some prayer in all this. get into school, somewhere, i don't care. i just want to get into school.

so that's the latest on my life. work and school and wishful of more school. pretty boring. i wish i was back on vacation......

COTTON CANDY MACHINE!!!!

GUESS WHAT GUYS?!?!?!?! I GOT A COTTON CANDY MACHINE!!!!!!! i will update on my adventures in colorado when i'm not busy on vacation, but i would like the whole world to know that kathy now owns a cotton candy machine. and i think when i get back to arizona, i'm going to throw a BIG cotton candy party. (well, maybe not BIG. this cotton candy machine is from walmart and is made for 8 year old kids. i'm an 8 yr old at heart. but it doens't make a whole lot before it starts overheating. so maybe i'll be a small intimate party, just lots of mini parties.)
